Shavatenu -
09:06
|
|||
We Cry Out
I cried out to You in my vigil – please answer me.
You are my God ״ya ein ya leil״.
I cried out to You at dawn
And You answered me.
You are my God ״ya ein ya leil״.
You are our God, You are our God –
Listen to our cries.
You are our God, You are our God –
Quickly send something this way.
You are our God, You are our God –
See the affliction of Israel.
And listen to our cries.
Our cries our cries our cries - You will listen to them.
You will listen.

Yedid Nefesh -
07:30
|

Beloved of my soul, Merciful Father,
Draw your servant after your will
Your servant would run swift as a deer
To kneel before Your splendor
For Your love is sweeter to him
Than honey nectar and all pleasing savor
Exalted Glorious Beautiful Light of the World
My soul is love-sick for You
Please My God, please heal her
By showing her the beauty of Your radiance
Then she will be strengthened and healed
And be Your maidservant forever
Ancient One arouse Your mercy
Spare the son of Your beloved friend (Abraham)
For he has a long time longed
To behold the magnificence Your might
Please My God My Heart's Delight
Oh come quickly do nor forsake me
Reveal Yourself my dearest
And spread over me Your canopy of peace
Let the earth be illuminated with Your glory
Let us be delighted and rejoice in You
Make haste my beloved for the time has come
Show me Your favor as in the days of old

The Soul is Thine
The soul is Thine,
And the body does Your bidding,
You are an unequaled rock, my fortress.
Till when will you hang onto delusion,
And cover yourself with colorful shells?
All shed their shells eventually.
At the end of the day, all is revealed.
And you are left naked and alone.
Stop this delusion,
I am crazy with longing.
Happiness is to be find within you,
Come back to me my soul, my Neshama.
The soul is Thine…
Come back to me, my pure soul.
I have wandered off and gone astray,
Lost my way on roads so grey.
Crazy I was with grief and longing,
And could not find my way,
Or the pathway I was seeking.
Stop this delusion,
I am crazy with longing.
When you are not here,
I am lost.
The soul is Thine…

At the Close of the Day of Rest
At the close of the day of rest, give repose to your nation.
Send Elijah the Tishbi to the woeful, so that sadness and sighs
flee away.
It behooves you my God, my rock, to gather my dispersed
nation,
From among the cruel nation that has dug a grave for me.
In time of mercy, save the nation that begs
To see Your goodness,
And longs to see the redeemer come
And salvage the abandoned and lonesome lamb.
Call out salvation to your generous people, oh mighty Lord of
myriads.
May the following week bring with it salvation and prosperity.
The bereaved daughter of Zion, who today stands rejected,
Will be joined in matrimony and become the happy mother of
sons.
The springs shall flow forth, and the captives of the Lord will
return.
And they shall draw the waters of salvation, and all adversity
shall be forgotten.
Lead Your nation like a merciful father, and Israel shall sing
out:
The word of the Lord is true, He has fulfilled His promise.
May this coming month be as my father the prophet envisioned.
And may sounds of rejoicing and happiness emerge from this
house.
Heal my pain, oh Lord, and forgive me my sins and pledges.
For Your sake, my Father, save us and grant us success.
Those who have escaped the evil decree will sing in delight.
There will be no screams and no anger; no one shall go forth
and cry out.
The God that lives for eternity shall fulfill our wishes, and grant
our requests.
He will bless the fruits of our labor and grant us success.
See my affliction and hardships, and forgive my sins and
disobedience.
Sooth my pain in the House that I have coveted,
And I shall bring forth offerings of gratitude.
Build the walls of my palace, and the high priests shall sing
within:
Praise the Lord, with the voice of happiness and rejoicing.

My Daughter -
05:40
|
|||
My daughter
My daughter, fear not
For I will yet remember you.
From a far off land
I will gather your scattered children.
I will build you once more,
And you will stand erect, beautiful and glorious.
Indeed, you are my sister.

1 A Psalm of Asaph. {N}
O God, the heathen are come into
Thine inheritance; they have
defiled Thy holy temple; {N}
they have made Jerusalem into
heaps.
2 They have given the dead bodies
of Thy servants to be food unto
the fowls of the heaven, {N}
the flesh of Thy saints unto the
beasts of the earth.
3 They have shed their blood like
water round about Jerusalem, with
none to bury them.
4 We are become a taunt to our
neighbours, a scorn and derision to
them that are round about us.
5 How long, O LORD, wilt Thou
be angry for ever? How long will
Thy jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out Thy wrath upon the
nations that know Thee not, {N}
and upon the kingdoms that call
not upon Thy name.
7 For they have devoured Jacob,
and laid waste his habitation.
8 Remember not against us the
iniquities of our forefathers; {N}
let Thy compassions speedily
come to meet us; for we are
brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the sake of the glory of Thy
name; {N}
and deliver us, and forgive our
sins, for Thy name's sake.
10 Wherefore should the nations
say: 'Where is their God?' {N}
Let the avenging of Thy servants'
blood that is shed be made known
among the nations in our sight.
11 Let the groaning of the prisoner
come before Thee; according to
the greatness of Thy power set
free those that are appointed to
death;
12 And render unto our
neighbours sevenfold into their
bosom their reproach, {N}
wherewith they have reproached
Thee, O Lord.
13 So we that are Thy people and
the flock of Thy pasture will give
Thee thanks for ever; {N}
we will tell of Thy praise to all
generations. {P}

ד הָיִינוּ חֶרְפָּה, לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ;

ה עַד-מָה יְהוָה, תֶּאֱנַף לָנֶצַח;

Man - בן אדם
06:53
|
|||
Man
Why do you concern yourself with blood
Rather than with the days gone by?
Spilled blood is useless,
And a day gone by will never come back…

1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks unto the Lord of lords,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
4 To Him who alone doeth great wonders,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
5 To Him that by understanding made the heavens,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
6 To Him that spread forth the earth above the waters,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
7 To Him that made great lights,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
8 The sun to rule by day,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
9 The moon and stars to rule by night,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
10 To Him that smote Egypt in their first-born,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
11 And brought out Israel from among them,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
12 With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
13 To Him who divided the Red Sea in sunder,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
16 To Him that led His people through the wilderness,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
17 To Him that smote great kings;
for His mercy endureth for ever;
18 And slew mighty kings,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
20 And Og king of Bashan,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
21 And gave their land for a heritage,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
22 Even a heritage unto Israel His servant,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate,
for His mercy endureth for ever;
24 And hath delivered us from our adversaries,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh,
for His mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven,
for His mercy endureth for ever
